Grief is the terrible reminder of the depths of our love and, like love, grief is non-negotiable.

Grief Counselling

When a person dies, it can conjure up a multitude of thoughts and feelings, many of which can be confusing and distressing.

Grief counselling aims to confront these, often overwhelming, ideas and emotions to give them the necessary space and time to be deeply explored. The aim is never to 'get over' someone, but to begin to rebuild your life whilst holding space for the person who has died.

The Lotus

Since ancient times, the Lotus Flower has acted as a symbol for transformation and renewal.

When we are grieving, there are often hugely shifting landscapes that we need to navigate. The world might seem different, and we may be struggling to comprehend our changed perspectives on life and meaning. In this sense, then, grief forces us to transform and renew ourselves as we attempt to accommodate our loss.

Be patient toward all that is unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves, like locked rooms and like books that are now written in a very foreign tongue.
